After snapping a four-game losing skid on Thursday, the Vegas Golden Knights are in Dallas to take on the Stars at 4:30 p.m. today.
This is the Golden Knights' first time in Dallas since they lost Game 7 of the 2023 Western Conference quarterfinals, 2-1.
Vegas went up 2-0 in the series before losing three straight games. It won Game 6 at home, 2-0, to force a Game 7.
Despite losing their last game at American Airlines Center, the Golden Knights won their last meeting against the Stars, a 3-2 result in Vegas on Dec. 6.
The Golden Knights come into this game after defeating the St. Louis Blues, 4-2, on Thursday, their first win in nearly two weeks.
Tomas Hertl and Pavel Dorofeyev continue to drive Vegas' offense over this stretch, as both extended point streaks against the Blues. Hertl has 11 points in seven games and Dorofeyev has 10 points in six games.
After winning seven straight, the Stars have dropped four of their last six, most recently losing to the Carolina Hurricanes, 2-1, on Tuesday.
A win over the Golden Knights would push them ahead of the Minnesota Wild for the No. 2 spot in the Central Division.
