The Vegas Golden Knights will have a new radio home starting Dec. 18, moving its game broadcasts to 94.7 FM, the franchise announced.

The station change marks the first time the Golden Knights have switched their primary FM frequency since the team’s inaugural 2017-18 season, when games began airing on 98.9 FM.

The move to 94.7 FM will provide improved signal strength and expanded coverage throughout the Las Vegas area, said Lotus Broadcasting, the station's owner. The station will broadcast in HD, offering listeners enhanced audio quality and reliability.

Fans will also be able to tune in on KOMP 92.3 HD2, while the team’s AM home on 1340 AM remains unchanged.

The broadcasting lineup will stay intact despite the frequency change. Dan D’Uva and Gary Lawless will continue handling game play-by-play, while Ryan Wallis covers pre-game, intermission and post-game segments. Wallis also co-hosts the VGK Insider Show with Daren Millard. The listener call-in number (702-876-1340) will remain the same.

As part of the transition, HANK FM country music programming, which previously occupied 94.7, will move to 98.9 FM.
