Henderson announces celebration plans for Paseo Verde Little League team

The event will run from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 19 at the Lee’s Family Forum Tiltyard, according to a city announcement on its Facebook page. The team secured the United States title on Saturday with a 12‑2 victory over Hamilton, Ohio, which represents the Great Lakes Region. Two days later, Paseo Verde fell 11‑2 to Curaçao in the Little League World Series championship game. The city said the celebration will feature giveaways and amusing for all.
