Metro police investigate homicide in east Las Vegas

September 1, 2026 - 6:48 pm Metropolitan Police Department officials confirmed they are investigating a homicide that occurred on eastbound Las Vegas Boulevard on Tuesday. Officers responded to the scene at 1:46 p.m., arriving at the 1200 block of Eastern Avenue, near East Washington Avenue. Homicide detectives remain onsite conducting their inquiry.
