New Orleans Saints lose OL Dillon Radunz to season-ending ACL tear

New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Dillon Radunz will miss the 2026 season after tearing his ACL during Saturday’s training‑camp practice, head coach Kellen Moore confirmed on Sunday. The injury ends Radunz’s second stint with the club before the regular season opens. At 28 years old, Radunz entered camp as an experienced lineman capable of providing depth at multiple positions. In 2025 he appeared in 15 games for New Orleans, starting 10, primarily at left guard. The Saints re‑signed him to a two‑year contract in March following his first year with the team, retaining a veteran who had also logged extensive snaps at guard and tackle during his NFL career. The ACL tear removes an important reserve from a comparatively young offensive line. New Orleans had added veteran guard David Edwards in free agency, which could have relegated Radunz to a backup role, but his ability to shift between positions gave the Saints added flexibility. Prior to joining New Orleans, Radunz spent his first four NFL seasons with the Tennessee Titans after they selected him in the second round of the 2021 draft out of North Dakota State. Over his career Radunz has played in 69 NFL games, including 41 starts. He started 10 of his 15 appearances for the Saints last season and was expected to contribute experienced depth in 2026.
