North Las Vegas hotel-casino unveils updated sportsbook Aliante hotel-casino has debuted a newly transformed Boyd Gaming sportsbook featuring a 30‑foot video partition capable of displaying up to 30 games simultaneously across 20 chiseled surface layouts. The updated space also showcases upgraded seating, including plush booths, lounge chairs and couches. Bettors can place wagers at on‑site sports betting kiosks or through the Boyd Sports mobile app. Guests will soon be able to reserve VIP booth and lounge areas for group viewing via OpenTable. Each VIP reservation includes food and beverage minimums. Boyd Gaming, a Las Vegas‑based operator with 27 casinos in 11 states, acquired the Aliante—originally opened by Station Casinos in 2008—for $380 million in 2016. Boyd also unveiled a recently renovated sportsbook at Sam’s Town in July as the company continues to invest in its Southern Nevada properties, which additionally include Cadence Crossing, Gold Coast, Orleans and Suncoast. “In all, by early next year, we will have renovated more than 70 percent of our Las Vegas building space inventory, introduced 17 new food and beverage concepts, and importantly enhanced our Southern Nevada presence with our new Cadence Crossing property,” Boyd President and CEO Keith Smith said July 23 during the company’s second‑quarter net telephone with investors.
