Planes grounded at Gatwick after aircraft stuck on runway

Gatwick Airport confirmed that its runway was shut down after an aircraft became immobilized on the strip, noting the closure was "due to a method contented with a departing aircraft". As a result, multiple flights were grounded while crews worked to clear the obstruction.
