Golden Knights sign William Karlsson to 2-year extension

The agreement runs through the 2028‑29 season and carries an annual average value of $6.75 million against the salary cap. Karlsson, 33, is one of the few remaining members of the franchise’s original roster, known as the “Original Misfits.” Since being selected by the Golden Knights in the 2017 expansion draft from the Columbus Blue Jackets, he has appeared in 570 regular‑season games for Vegas.
