Moapa River tribal police are investigating the death of Victor Lee Saganitso, 20, after his body was found lying in the street on the Moapa River Indian Reservation Saturday evening. The reservation is located about 40 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
Officers responded to a report of an individual needing medical attention and located Saganitso unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said there is reason to believe foul play may have been involved, though they have no information indicating an ongoing threat to the public. The department has sought assistance from the FBI’s Las Vegas office, which is providing support.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Moapa River Police Department at 702-865-2828 and reference case number C26-06051.
