A juvenile has been arrested in connection with a shooting Sunday evening near the Bonneville Transit Center in downtown Las Vegas that left three people injured, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Metro said the shooting occurred near East Bonneville Avenue and South First Street just before 6:50 p.m. on Sunday. Police initially reported that three people were transported to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds, including the suspect.
A Regional Transportation Commission spokesperson said Monday that an officer was also injured in the incident, though it was not specified whether the officer was a security contractor or with Metro.
Metro confirmed Tuesday that officers arrested the suspected shooter, who is a juvenile. Additional details about the suspect were not immediately available, and police had not updated the victims' conditions as of Tuesday evening.
