Arbor View senior wide receiver Damani Warren is fully healthy for his final high school season, and the Aggies have reached the inaugural CCSD Division I Superintendent's Cup final as a result. Arbor View (6-3) hosts Centennial (6-3) at 7 p.m. Friday in what will be the final game of the year for all Clark County School District football teams, which went independent this spring and are not eligible for NIAA-sanctioned postseason play.
Warren's breakout sophomore season in 2024 drew more than 40 Division I offers, but a torn posterior cruciate ligament derailed his junior year. The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Texas A&M commit has rebounded with 29 catches for 580 yards and seven touchdowns this season. "It was super motivating to me because I had to show everybody what I was about again," Warren said. "I've always battled adversity through my life and I just find a way to overcome it."
The Aggies feature five Division I athletes and reached the state title game in the top classification in both 2024 and 2025 before losing to Bishop Gorman. Quarterback Thaddeus Thatcher, who met Warren at a youth practice, said the two are inseparable. "I love him to death for real," Thatcher said. "Me and Damani, we're always with each other every single day."
Warren said the seniors want to leave a legacy after falling short in previous championship appearances. "We still have the same motor because we didn't forget the times we made it to the championship game and didn't complete the job," he said. "The seniors, we want to go out the right way and leave our legacy at Arbor View."
