Nevada Preps is calling on readers to vote for the girls Athlete of the Week for the period of Sept. 7‑12. Voting will close at noon on Thursday, with the results announced on Friday. The four nominees for this week’s honor are: **Julia Anfinson, Faith Lutheran soccer** The senior scored three goals on Wednesday to propel the Crusaders to an 8‑1 victory over Shadow Ridge. The win preserved Faith Lutheran’s unbeaten record at 6‑0‑1. **Kimber Morrow, Shadow Ridge girls volleyball** Morow recorded 14 kills, seven digs and three service aces on Tuesday as the Mustangs secured a four‑set triumph over Coronado. She leads her team in both kills (170) and digs (132). **Lexington Trummell, Foothill volleyball** Trummell contributed 21 digs, 15 kills and four aces to help the Falcons defeat Green Valley in five sets on Tuesday. She tops Foothill with 135 digs and 26 service aces. **Aleah Warner, Bishop Gorman girls soccer** The sophomore netted three goals on Wednesday in the Gaels’ 8‑0 shutout of Foothill. Warner now has 15 goals for Gorman, which stands at 10‑0 and shares first place in the 5A Southern League with a 3‑0 conference record.
