Clark County officials are warning voters to prepare for longer wait times at polling locations across the county on Election Day. The advisory was issued just after noon, citing changes to the voting process and what a county spokesperson described as "significant" expected turnout for the 2026 Midterm Election.
"Additionally, wait times may be longer in the morning, lunch, and evening hours," the spokesperson stated. Voters can monitor real-time wait times at specific polling locations using the county's Find My Vote Center tool.
Early voting concluded Friday with more than 665,000 ballots already cast. The midterm ballot features several high-profile statewide races, including contests for governor, attorney general, secretary of state and lieutenant governor.
The governor's race between Republican incumbent Joe Lombardo and Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford is drawing particular attention. A Noble Predictive Insights poll released Friday showed the two candidates effectively tied at 47% each, with a margin of error of roughly 4.4%.
