Mark Wahlberg's Municipal Gym is moving closer to opening in Downtown Summerlin, with the facility slated to debut in early 2027. The gym will occupy the former Bed Bath & Beyond space off Sahara Avenue at the 215 Beltway, spanning more than 30,000 square feet in the 106-acre shopping and dining hub.
Management hosted a free, instructor-led outdoor workout session Tuesday evening to generate interest, drawing a large crowd. Attendees could join a waitlist for founding membership notifications, and a one-day online membership sale is scheduled for Nov. 2 at $99 per month. Regular rates will be $129 per month for a full year or $179 per month for expanded services.
The facility will include weight and cardio areas along with red-light therapy, cryotherapy, hydrotherapy massage, dry cold plunge, infrared sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and a cafe. A "4:AM Club" circuit training space is inspired by Wahlberg's early-morning workout routine and mindset.
Wahlberg, who moved to Las Vegas in recent years and has advocated for expanding film production in the city, announced the project in fall 2024. Downtown Summerlin landlord Howard Hughes Holdings confirmed this will be Municipal Gym's first location. Clark County issued permits last year valued at more than $2.4 million for tenant improvements and $600,000 for exterior work.
