Paseo Verde will need to take down a familiar opponent if it wants to reach the Little League World Series championship.

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Paseo Verde will meet West Side of Hamilton, Ohio, in the United States championship game of the Little League World Series on Saturday at Lamade Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. PST, with the broadcast airing on ABC. Hamilton advanced to the title contest after a 7-1 victory over Davenport Northwest of Iowa in an elimination game on Thursday. The Ohio team has been navigating the loser’s bracket since Paseo Verde erased a three‑run deficit to secure a 6‑5 walk‑off win over the Great Lakes Region champions on Friday. Since that comeback, Hamilton has been dominant, outscoring its opponents 39‑6 across the last five games. Paseo Verde’s path to the final included a 5‑0 shutout of Tacoma, Washington, following its win over Hamilton, and a 14‑6 triumph over Iowa on Wednesday that showcased the Nevada squad’s offensive firepower. The Henderson‑based team aims to become the first Nevada representative to reach the World Series final in back‑to‑back years. Summerlin South captured the U.S. crown last season before falling to Chinese Taipei in the international showdown. In the other bracket, Curacao and Japan will contest the international championship.
