The Golden Knights return home Thursday looking to keep their early-season momentum going. Vegas hosts the Toronto Maple Leafs at T-Mobile Arena, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. Pacific. The Golden Knights enter the game 3-1-0 after consecutive road victories over Vancouver and Seattle. Toronto is 2-2-0 and is playing its first road game of the season.
Jack Eichel is off to another great start with a league-leading 10 points entering Wednesday to pace the Golden Knights. Victor Olofsson, who was hurt in the third period Tuesday against Seattle following a cross-check from Kraken center Ben Meyers, is week to week with an upper-body injury and will be unavailable for the game.
Mark Stone’s fight with Seattle’s Brandon Montour set the tone for a chippy 3rd period following the injury to Victor Olofsson. Adin Hill gave up a bad goal late in the second period Sunday against Vancouver but bounced back in the third period to help secure the win. The Golden Knights used a three-goal second period to defeat the Canucks on Sunday to start their first road trip of the year.
