Discount airline Avelo plans additional flights to Dallas area

Avelo Airlines announced it will add Wednesday and Saturday flights between Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and McKinney National Airport in North Dallas, beginning December 16. The new flights will bring the total service on the route to six flights per week, joining previously scheduled Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday flights.

Initial service between the two cities began on November 12, 2026, with four flights per week. Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service between Las Vegas and North Dallas.

Avelo Airlines Founder and CEO Andrew Levy said demand between Las Vegas and North Texas has been strong, explaining the expansion. He added that the increase from four to six weekly flights gives Las Vegas travelers more options to reach McKinney and the North Dallas region for holiday visits, Cowboys games or business travel.
